A relaxing view of the Gulf in a charming setting with tropical decor!
This is a one-bedroom/two-bath unit with a lovely tropical decor accented with wildlife. With a king-size in the bedroom, bunk beds, and a sleeper sofa, this unit sleeps up to six guests! The kitchen can accommodate six as well with a table for four and two barstools.
The living room offers a relaxing view of the Gulf - no need to turn on the television! If you would like to watch television, though, there is a flat-screen TV and DVD player in the living area as well as a TV/VCR and DVD player in the bedroom. Outside from the balcony you can view a grass court directly below and the resort's pool and jacuzzi further down. If you are interested in a little privacy, the balcony also features an external shutter.

Great Condo and perfect for our small family of three, but would also be great for more. The animal safari decor was perfect for our toddler! The view was outstanding - just as beautiful as Destin!

great condo, unbeatable location on the Emerald coast and 2 minutes from downtown. This unit is right across from the trash chute, fyi, but we didnt find that to be much of a problem. Very clean, great set up nice complex. I highly recommend Brooks and Shorey, they made check in and out as easy as could be. great amenities too!

Our Stay at Pelican Isle

We loved the perks of staying at the condo, such as the free beach set up, movie rentals and spacious unit. What we did not like was how much we had to clean when we were charged a hefty clean up fee, that there was no property manager on site and that the a/c unit wouldn't keep a consistent tempature in the condo. The good outweighed the bad, but we could see if anything went wrong, we were on our own (unless we wanted to be charged another fee).
Manager response
We always encourage our guests to let us know if there are any issues with the condo - either cleanliness or any maintenance issues. All of our staff is close by and problems can be easily resolved if you just let us never charge any fees for letting us know something is wrong. Our office is open daily, our phone numbers are posted in the unit and local calls are free - please call us and let us know any problems you run into, we are here to make you vacation better!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property that we rented was very clean. You could tell that this property was being taken care of. I made a suggestion when I made this reservation and I wondered if it had been passed on. Have you ever thought about a repeat customer or loyalty discount? We have rented from you several times over the past few years and have even rented at The Islander Beach Resort directly before you started manaaging the property. I just think it would be an added amenity to your repeat customers.

Great place for a family vacation

We had a great family vacation. The condo was very nice and clean. The view was beautiful from our balcony. We went to a couple fun restaurants - McGuires Pub and Fudpuckers. Also suggest Put Putting that is across from the Boardwalk. We would definitely suggest anyone staying at Pelican Isle.

The locations and the view were wonderful. We found the condo to be very worn. Carpet was worn; the bedding and sheets were worn. Out top sheet on the bed was thread-bare. You could see through it. We had to get another sheet from the sofa bedding and put it on our bed. The sofa was also very worn. The drapes were broken and at one point not attached to the rod. The bathrooms were very disappointing. They need updating badly. The water pressure was low, the bathtub did not drain well. The large shower in the other bathroom was a great size, but badly needs updating. We will definitely stay at Pelican Isle again because of the location, but we will not ask for this condo again.

1)ad stated covered parking(not avial.) 2)walk in shower had a large ring of mold around entire shower 3) had to keep shoes on because carpet was making feet black 4)limited access to carts for moving luggage these items may seem small but the small things impact the entire experience.

The condo was just as pictured. -attractive and clean. The ocean view from the balcony is beautiful. The only downside is I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in the 'beautiful sunrise and sunset views' that were advertised. The sun rises and sets over buildings. I'm a nature and photography nut so you can imagine the letdown...

Pelican Isle, room 402, lacked adequate kitchen utensils. The bathrooms had hair on the floor and mold in the showers. We reported this to managemen and were told they would tell cleaning staff. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

The bed was extremley hard for my preference but overall the property was in good condition. My only suggestion would be a friendlier property manager. He was a little stand-offish when we checked in. There was also some confusion when we initally called to make the reservations. I would probably rent from a true owner next time instead of going through this type of group for more personal service.

Condo has excellent view and great beach that is why we come back to the pelican isle. Condo was furnished very nicely but a few minor things would be to have hot pads, some lights were missing light bulbs, a cookie sheet would be nice for cooking pizza etc. Ft. Walton Beach is beautiful area, just wish could be about 80 degrees at spring break time.
