This was our 4th year in a row to stay at the Islander Beach Resort. We come down every March with our son's high school baseball team for a spring break tournament. The IBR has always proven to be a nice stay. This unit (6002) was nicely decorated and had been recently updated and repainted. My only complaint about the trip was one of the elevators was out of service the entire week, which made the wait sometimes long for the other one. Won't keep me/us from going back, however.
Twin beds weren't the best. Need a large stock pot. Didn't like the cold winter buat not your fault.Living rom area great.

We are here for 3.5 months. Needed a bread knife, butcher knife and large stock pot. Most of the time a hair dryer is provided, thank goodness I brought one from home. Really liked what the owners did with the living area.

For the most part my stay was fine but the hight speed internet connection was inadequate for me to work on my company's network. For instance, the e-mail would display but not allow me to view e-mails.

No, it was overcrowded with children. Unable to use the pool at all. I understand family vacations, but these children were unsupervised most of the time and all over the pool.

The WiFi only worked about 10% of the time. The elevators were HOT and slow and DIRTY. The same trash was on the floor of the elevator for several days in a row!
The staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in. The view was perfect - right on the beach! The condo was well-stocked with necessities. We loved the beach chairs/umbrella amenity! We would stay here again - hope the elevators improve though.

Over all the stay was good. The condo was one of the nices places I have ever stayed. The only problem I had was the pool was not heated as I was told and the hot tube was not hot enough and when they treated it it bleached my swimsuit and burned my skin. When I went to the office they told me to call the home oners assc. They did nothing.

Overall condition of unit was "very tired". A good cleaning would go a long way to address the condition. The towel bar in the guest bath was broken, and had been that way for a while. Carpets need cleaning, and if housekeeping would have mopped the floors that should be done without being told. The dishes were put in the cabinets dripping wet. The beach was very well maintained. We should have been told that the beach chairs were "first come, first served". If you were late getting to the beach in the morning, no beach chairs for you. Overall I would not recommend this unit to a friend.

Very nice condo - no problems - the room was low on bathroom tissue and no shampoo in the room
