Everything was nice. We could hve used some better frying pans, so we bought some ourselves and also a few more wine glasses would have been nice. The ceiling fan in the den/family room is in bad condition and vibrates very badly. Otherwisw everything else was good. Thanks!

Overall, our stay was great. It would be nice to have barstools along the kitchen counter for additional seating. The leather recliner was a hit with kids and adults alike!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

I was very nervous upon arriving in Fort Walden about finding Brooks and Shorey Resorts but it was so easy to find and the people there are WONDERFUL. The condo was perfect. We WILL be using this resort again. Thanks So Much.

I have stayed at this resort many times before July2007 and it was very nice. July 2007 was a different story. My reservations were actually for June 2007, but because of a mistake in scheduling department we had a hard time making it to Ft. Walton. It wasnt' until I complained to the BBB and Chamber of commerce that I was allowed to reschedule. My husband had already scheduled his vacation for June and was not able to attend with us in July. This rates as the worst vacation that I have ever experienced. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

It was inconvenient to check in and out at a location not on the property. The pool could open at 8:oo instead of 9:00.

My family was very pleased with this facility and everything it has to offer. We stayed in a gulf front condo and the view was everything we expected. It is centered around a family oriented atmosphere that our family enjoyed and has decided to visit again.

The room was great! Loved it. The management staff was also very pleasnt and helpful. The only complaint were the mattresses. They definately need to be replaced. Other than that it was Wonderful!!!!

Hi,
We have stayed at the Islander for many years and enjoyed this stay as well. We plan on coming back to stay again. My only dissatisfaction this time was that the room smelled very musty when we first walked into it and any time that we were gone for a few hours it smelled that way when we came back. The only other thing was that I left the pool because there were people drinking and cursing there in the hottub. They had beer and lots of different kinds of alcohol in glass containers. I am all about having a good time and love to drink, but not in an environment where children are and I had my kids with me. It took 2 calls before someone came to tell them to leave. But, like I said...not enough to keep us away...we love all the amenitites and will be back to stay there again. Thanks, Diana
