All of our two bedroom units at the Islander Beach Resort come with a full kitchen featuring all major appliances, dishes, utensils and cookware. They also come with washers and dryers in the units as well as a private balcony overlooking the beautiful emerald coast.

Guests at the Islander Beach Resort have access to one of Okaloosa Island's largest gulf-side pools, in addition to a relaxing outdoor hot tub, a shuffleboard court, and a barbeque grill area. the closing of the pool and hot tub was not the fault of the owners however,more control of infants using the the pool,by parents might have prevented this.

this was,i believe,the tenth time[correct me if i'm wrong]that my 'group' have stayed with you - the reason we booked this time was - prior to our departure in 2007 the duty manager at the time informed me - "quote" if you book now for the following year you will get 2007 prices AND if ten people book under the same group name you will ALL get an additionall 10% discount off the rates - this was obviously an error on your manager's part as we were not allowed the additional 10% discount -as you can imagine this was a great disappointment to our group - i am sorry to say that because of this i doubt if we will stay at your resort again and i could not in all ' honesty ' recommend the resort to anyone - hope you see my point and maybe instuct your staff not to make ' promises ' in order to make 'a sale '. As the title says, the family gets together every year at the Islander- all 35 of us! We get, and are usually quite satisfied with our four condos. The grandkids think that this is the greatest week of the year.
Check in/out process

I thought the check in/check out process was uncalled for. Having to fight your way downtown check in and out is not easy. Checking it and out at the property was much better and we will probably find a resort that will accommodate us on this.
Islander 2009

This became our home away from home. We hope to make this our annual vacation place because of the accommodations as well as its location. The ladies at Brooks and Shorey Resorts office were so pleasant and easy to work with. We loved our stay. I would love for the owners of Islander 2009 to know we certainly enjoyed their facilities.

The pool really needed some work. The tiles in the pool needed cleaning badly. Trash around the pool should've have been picked up more often. The condo we stayed in was in excellent condition.

I was most satisfied by the fact I was to actually stay in the room I requested. I have had bad experiences with this at other locations. The guest are very good as well, many are repeat guest as am I. Have reservations June 2008.
