There's no mistaking that you are in a beach paradise in this lovely condo. It has several beach-themed decorative accessories, including shells, dolphins, mermaids, lighthouses, birds, and seahorses. It also has various framed pictures of sealife and beach scenes. Additionally, you can listen to the sounds of the waves on the large balcony or even while inside the unit.
Accomodations include a king bed in the bedroom, two twins in the guest bedroom, a sleeper sofa, and a twin-size rollaway bed, offering space for up to seven guests total. Other features include a full-size washer and dryer in the utility closet, a full kitchen, a counter area in the hallway, and of course the wrap-around balcony.

Gulfside 503 was wonderful. Very clean and we loved the way the rooms layed out, with the bedrooms towards the back instead of right next to the living area. Will definately be back next year. Only wish is for a shady area on the roof by the pool.

Gulfside 503 is a nice condo. On my next trip to the area I will be shopping for a condo with the master bedroom opening up to the beach.

Aside from a minor ant problem that was finally solved, it was a perfect place to stay. We didn't want to leave. The property manager and the condo president were very helpful. Really felt at home and the view was breathtaking. Will definitely be back. Our whole family enjoyed the trip including our 16 month old son!

I have stayed at Fort Walton Beach every year, for a week, since 2004. This was the best condo by far that I have ever stayed in. Although this was not a trip that was planned for us, I am so glad that the person who chose this condo picked this one. The furniture was excellent in the living room. The kitchen was stocked with more than anyone would ever need for a weeks stay. The only thing it didn't have was a cookie sheet to cook a pizza on, but it had every other single thing that anyone could possibly want or need. The beds were excellent, even the roll away bed was comfortable. This is great condo and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a good place to stay the week. As a matter of fact, I hope to stay in this same unit again. Heck, I will bring my own cookie sheet. LOL

We were so disappointed that our trip was cut very short b/c of Hurricane Gustave. We did have a wonderful two days that we were there. I only wish that we could have postponed it/rescheduled it to get the full benefit of it. We couldn't get any money back b/c the storm was not affecting Florida, but was affecting La where we are from. So we actually lost money...but the two days that we were there was fantastic. In the future I will ask more questions and about options in case this happens again.

This is the second year we have stayed in this unit. We love it! The view from the room is excellent and the pool is wonderful!
Vacation July 2008 - The condo was very nice and clean. The beach wasn't as clean as I have seen it before. I usually make a trip to the beach once a year. We did enjoy our stay.

The dryer needs to be replaced, the air conditioner sounds like it's about to quit, the furniture was not in good just seemed like the apartment had gone downhill since we rented it last year.

We LOVED Gulfside Rm 503...Our stay was wonderful and so much fun. Two families with three small children and it was just like being at home. Everything we needed. Loved it loved it! Will definately use this condo again.

We have stayed here many times but may not be back because of the requirements for paying. Payment in full months ahead, NO refund if a serious event happens and we can't make it? And having to buy insurance that covers only part of the rental? We don't like it. Too bad, we liked staying there.

The condo is in a perfect location with an incredible view. We loved the rooftop pool. The decor is a bit dated in some areas and the kitchen could be updated with new utensils, cookware etc. but overall, it's a lovely place! In fact, we're bringing our grown children to Gulfside this summer!

My family and I have visited resorts with Brooks, Shorey for the past four years. We have always enjoyed our stay at the facilities which were beautifully maintained. Spending quiet mornings watching the dolphins travel along the shore and fun family evenings playing games or watching videos (provided by Brooks Shorey, of course) are just some of the highlights of our trips. We enjoyed our stay except for stairwells and elevator being less than clean (smelled dank and didn't look like they were cleaned daily). There was maintenance going on when we were there (painting, elevator work which set off fire alarms). After our vacation we were contacted repeatedly asking us to return a movie rental pass card. We didn't use the movie rental card while we were there and we certainly didn't bring it home with us (why would we, it would have been of no use to us).

At best the condo was below average, dirty and the building was occupied by guest dogs (3).
When I complained I was told that I should expect these conditions because it was one of the older buildings on the beach. All of this whould have been acceptable except I paid the same price as much nicer condos down the beach.
