Wildlife viewing, deep-sea fishing, rafting and nearby bike trails provide many opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast. Have fun with your kids climbing Proposal Rock, beach combing, building in the sand, whale watching, hiking the Cascade Head Conservancy wildlife reserve, visiting the general store, and dining at the local Hawk Creek Café. Oregon Coast Aquarium is located 30 miles south in Newport. Several Golf courses are nearby as well, and as long as you are at the beach, be sure to bring your kites!
